Alastair Darwood, a medical student at the University of Nottingham, won both the Best Technical Presentation at the Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery conference in Vancouver and the Best Poster at the Imperial Hamlyn Robotics Conference in London. His work designing a method of intra-operative 3D implant printing has been assisted by DSU’s Prof Amol Tambe.
The early results for patients with atraumatic shoulder instability treated using our specially designed physiotherapy regime have been published in the British Elbow & Shoulder Society’s Shoulder & Elbow journal.
