Alastair Darwood wins two prestigous research prizes!
Alastair Darwood, a medical student at the University of Nottingham, won both the Best Technical Presentation at the Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery conference in Vancouver and the Best Poster at the Imperial Hamlyn Robotics Conference in London. His work designing a method of intra-operative 3D implant printing has been assisted by DSU’s Prof Amol Tambe.
Results of Derby Instability Rehab Programme published
The early results for patients with atraumatic shoulder instability treated using our specially designed physiotherapy regime have been published in the British Elbow & Shoulder Society’s Shoulder & Elbow journal. Presentation at BESS Research Symposium
David Clark has been invited to speak at the Research Symposium at this year’s British Elbow & Shoulder Society annual conference on the subject of ‘Epidemiology evidence on prevalence and recurrence rates of traumatic anterior shoulder instability’. The conference is held in Sheffield City Hall 24th-26th June 2015.
